Privacy policy

This policy explains how Noor Voyages collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.

1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

Under Law 25, our privacy officer is responsible for the handling of personal information. You may reach this person in writing at info@noorvoyages.ca, or by mail at the address above, marked « Privacy ».

2. What we collect

• Identification and contact details: name, email address, telephone number, postal address.
• Travel details you provide: destinations, approximate dates, number of travellers, budget range, trip preferences and any notes you send us.
• Booking information required by suppliers: traveller names as shown on passport, date of birth, passport details, and payment details processed by our payment providers.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we collect it

We use personal information to answer your request and prepare a quote, to book and administer travel arrangements with airlines, hotels, tour operators and insurers, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and to contact you about your file. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Consent

By submitting a form on this site you consent to our collecting and using the information provided for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@noorvoyages.ca; withdrawing consent may prevent us from completing a booking already in progress.

5. Sharing and transfers outside Quebec

To deliver the travel services you request, we must share the necessary information with third parties such as airlines, hotels, ground operators, insurers, consolidators and payment processors. Some of these are located outside Quebec and outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another jurisdiction. We share only what is necessary for the booking and we assess the protection afforded before communicating information outside Quebec.

6. Retention and destruction

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations, after which it is destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent, to request that it no longer be disseminated where the law allows, and to receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format. Write to info@noorvoyages.ca and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function and, where enabled, to measure audience and improve the site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may then work less well.

9. Security incidents

We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected persons and the Commission d'acces a l'information as required by law, and keep a register of incidents.

10. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our handling of your personal information, write to us first at info@noorvoyages.ca. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised.
